Years of Experience
SWi Fence Built From the Ground Up
SWi Fence wasn't born in a boardroom. We started in the field — digging holes, setting posts, learning what works and what doesn't. That hands-on experience shaped the systems we now share with our franchisees. We know what it's like to sweat for a living, and we've poured everything we've learned into helping you build a fence company that lasts.
the fence market is growing
The U.S. non-commercial fence market is expected to grow by over $3 billion between 2025 and 2030.
where our revenue comes from
Homeowners
We build all types of residential fences and were early adopters of no-dig fence systems in the US, which we've refined for a smoother, stronger installation.

Inspired by innovative New Zealand and European designs, our fences provide unmatched durability for farmers and ranchers.
Businesses
We create tailored fence solutions for businesses looking to protect their property and enhance their curb appeal.

FAQs
It's not required, but it is strongly recommended. If you already have some background in fencing, construction, or running crews, you'll be stepping onto solid ground. If you don't, we'll give you the training and tools to get started, but we want you to walk in with a clear understanding of the work this takes.
You can expect culture, training, and support that run deeper than just systems and checklists. Our top priority is to pass along the same mindset and values that made our company successful. You'll get access to our ongoing training library, customer-facing videos, internal resources, and one-on-one guidance - not just for you, but for your whole team. We've built a structure that doesn't just help you run a business, it helps you build one worth leading.
You'll receive more training than any other franchisor in the fencing industry is currently offering. We've put together step-by-step onboarding resources, instructional videos, and ongoing support not just for you, but for your crews - whether they're brand new or already experienced. Training is delivered through an online platform and is designed to make onboarding easier, not harder.
You'll have consistent, ongoing support. That's not a bonus, it's part of our DNA. We're building a culture where you're never left to figure things out on your own. Whether it's a question about a jobsite issue, staffing, equipment, or marketing, we're here to help you navigate it.
Yes. Territories are defined by a population base of approximately 500,000, generally by county, with zip-code and income-level analysis as supplemental considerations. This protection ensures that you're not stepping on someone else's toes, or having someone else step on yours.
We're not built from boardroom theory. We started in a shed. We've been in the mud, on the job, and face-to-face with homeowners. We know the business because we've lived it - and we still do. We're not private equity. We're fence people. We're not here to sell you a dream, we're here to give you the tools we actually use every day. We started as a group of hardworking builders, learning firsthand how to construct high-quality fences, deal with customers, train crews, and build a real business. That hands-on experience informs every aspect of our franchise, from our installation methods to our team management strategies.
Yes. Fence-building often slows down during the colder months, but we train you to work right through them. With the right techniques, scheduling strategies, and materials knowledge (all of which we train you in), you'll be equipped to keep moving through what others see as "off-season."
Yes. Your team members will have access to training modules designed to walk them through the SWI process in a simple, clear, step-by-step format.
You could. But we've already done the hard part. We've built the systems, the brand, the customer trust, the recognition, the training, and the YouTube following. We've failed, learned, and figured it out - so you don't have to.
That depends. If you've already got some equipment, land, or experience, the process may move quickly. For others, it might take a few months. Each situation is unique, and we'll help guide you through it.
You can start with just you - but we recommend at least a couple of installers to help you hit the ground running. Whether you're solo or growing a crew, we'll help you build from wherever you are.
Yes. You'll contribute to a national marketing fund, and in return, you'll receive franchisor guidance, brand assets, and proven marketing strategies. You're also free to explore local efforts, as long as they align with our brand and get franchisor approval. Our job is to make sure your money is going where it actually works — not into a black hole of bad Facebook ads.
Absolutely. If you meet our qualifications, we welcome experienced professionals into the SWI system. You bring your team and your reputation, and we'll provide the brand, the structure, and the tools to scale.
Yes - with some important caveats. You don't need a fancy office building or a huge warehouse. We started in a shed. But you do need a dedicated, professional space. That means at least two acres of land and a designated area for meeting with customers, whether that's an outbuilding, home office, or shop space. This isn't something you run from your dining room table. We're building businesses here - and first impressions matter.
We make this easy. Every new franchisee purchases a professionally curated starter package with the essential tools and equipment you'll need on day one, all shipped directly to your door. No more guessing which model to buy or chasing tools all over town. You'll also receive a checklist of basic items to source locally (we're not shipping you a yard rake, for example). This way, you're ready to go without wasting time or money.
